Trying!

Trying to post on this more often, going to do a re-design soon, to break out these random thoughts into its own tab. Going to help out my old TFO crew today, and meet with my biz partner about our charity. I also plan on opening an Etsy account soon. I need to remind myself my goals of 2018

1.get promoted at work
2.travel
3.get more healthy physically and emotionally
4.get rid of stuff and clear out my storage space

None of these side projects (other then Etsy) really help my causes- but they are fun!

I googled my name tonight and realized I have this blog that I should either utilize or delete. I am going to try and use it as both a diary but also an online starting point for my various side projects....

Pinterest- How to engage?

I have been pinning like crazy! P interest is wonderful, and I want to gain followers of my style "organically" but I am still not sure if I am doing it the best way.  I am also not quite ready to put up much of my own original content; Instead creating fairly specific boards that I post to regularly. But not too much as to not just blow up people feeds. One of my goals this month is to be to work on proper engagement. I think the first step is who do I want to engage? Who is my audience? I feel that it is me, I am my audience. Writing up a profile of a few “ideal” customers is a good place to start. I will post them soon!

P.S. I am trying to blog about my business every day! It gives me accountability and inspiration.  I also have a passion for photography, so I am going to post a picture I took along with every post. Some pictures might "match" better than others, but all will be taken by me.

New Year- New Store!

I have been going back and forth about the best way to sell all the vintage treasures I find hunting. After selling on Ebay and Etsy on and off I have decided to open a "store" within an Antique Mall. I live near a few Co-Op type shops where you carve out your little piece among many other little stalls under one roof. There is a particular shop I have my eye on, right now I am waiting to hear back if they still have a vacancy. Establishing up a retail store in January might not be the best idea either, but being a total newbie I thought that I could get my merchandising and "look" down. I am going to blog about this endeavor here! Details, Business Plan and Marketing Campaign soon!
